Neighborhood Outreach

NEW (3/23/2008) -- Neighbors for a Livable West Linn continues its community outreach to families in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District. We have now delivered ten computers with printers to families in our community.

The computers were donated by local residents, refurbished to like-new, and then delivered, along with the printers, to deserving local families. Below are photos of our recipient families (used with their permission).

We received the computers from local residents, cleaned them up (including wiping the hard drive), installed new software, and provided setup and training to the recipients.

The response was so great that we signed up as a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher so that we can receive new copies of Microsoft software at greatly reduced prices.

In 2006 we continued this program and hope to continue to expand it in the future.

As of 2008 we have donated a total of ten computers.
